Art Exhibition

Tadley School have lately held an art day and each child from each year, at the end of the day, had produced their own outstanding piece of art work. Each year group focussed on a different aspect of art and different designs. Some used collage and others used charcoal, ink pen and water colours to create different texture.

Shortly after the art day we brought a company in to frame our pictures and then they put them up in our school hall for us. That afternoon and that evening parents and their children came to the art exhibition and bought their beautifully framed pictures for just £6.00! The school council children had a great fun, as they took part in showing people around and serving people, surprisingly only 4 mistakes were made through out the course of the day which is good considering the age of children helping!

Very few pictures were not bought and might still be sold through out the week .The money we have made will go towards the money spent on the sound system (a new addition to Tadley School) Pupils at Tadley would recommend this other any other school.

Overall this was a big success and our school would love to see it happen again.
