Our School

Founded in the late 19th Century, our school stands in a pleasant rural setting situated on the southern outskirts of the town of Tadley, about six miles north of Basingstoke and has extensive views of the countryside to the south. It is a large non-denominational County Primary School catering for about 400 children between the ages of 4 and 11.

The school is a pleasant balance of old and new. The original Victorian building faces the original village green and has been tastefully modernised and extended, while retaining its period charm.

More recent parts of the building and the school playing field are situated at the rear with extensive views across fields to the south.

The Allen Wing is a new four classroom block used for Year 3 and Year 4 classes.

The central courtyard is completely enclosed by buildings, making a safe and secure playground for the younger pupils.

The Pyramid roof of the Hall can be seen at the back of the junior playground. On the extreme left is the entrance to the specially constructed music room.
