P.T.A.
Welcome to the PTA webpage
Who are the PTA?
All parents or carers of children attending the school are automatically members of the PTA.
The PTA is run by a committee of parents and teachers, who are elected at the Annual General Meeting. The committee meets approximately every 6 weeks to think of, and organise, social and fundraising events in order to provide extra benefits for the school and your children’s enjoyment of school life.
Here are a some examples of the items that have been funded by the PTA:
•Interactive white boards
•A storyteller visit
•Hire of an excavator for the playground project
•Digital cameras for each year group
•Reception Year coasters
•Refurbishment of the Library area
•Outside benches and tables
The Tadley Community Primary School PTA is a registered charity.
How Do We Raise Funds?
Funds are raised thanks to the generosity of you, the Parents, who support the variety of events that we hold throughout the year, such as Beetle Drives, Christmas Challenges, Bingo and Quiz Evenings. Our two big fundraising events are the Christmas Craft Fair and the Summer Fete.
How Can You Help?
None of the events could not take place without the support of those parents (Friends) who willing give up their time to man stalls, sell raffle tickets, make cakes, serve refreshments and so on. If you are interested in joining our list of Friends to help on an ad hoc basis or, if you would like a more active role and would like to join the PTA committee, please let Mrs Wood know via the school office.
